Nokia Firmware Editor version 0.2 by PNHT

After the release of the ported C6 FW, lots of you are eagerly waiting for NFE 0.2 to integrate their languages into their FW Smiley

Well, here it is! NFE 0.2 STD!

This released version is the Standard build of NFE since i haven't yet fully coded other features. By Standard, i mean that there are missing features

Informations about this Release:

1. This version supports Editing ROFS files. ROFx and UDA aren't enabled in this build. If you try to edit a file and NFE warns that the file is Protected, don't even bother to continue cooking it
2. Memory partitioning or CORE editing isn't supported. You can try to edit CORE.c00 file but you will soon find out that you bricked your phone
3. If your AnitVirus reports NFE as a threat, make an exception for it because NFE is packed and encrypted. So some antiviruses will think it's a virus and disable access to it

Installation:
Extract NFE to it's own directory. For better compatibility, put it in the root of your hard disk ex: C: or D: etc...

Thanks PNHT

WMouseXP v3.00 S60v5 S60v3 Java J2ME {Bluetooth Presentation Remote Control Software} - Full Version JAR App Download

WMouseXP turns compatible java-enabled and S60 phones into a wireless presenter-mouse and media player remote-control for your computer/notebook.

What can it do? Why use it?

* Change Powerpoint/Presentation slides wirelessly from your mobile phone.
* Smoothly move your computer's mouse pointer from your phone's joystick. No need for laser-pointers pointing at your projector screen.
* Media-Player control: Play, pause, stop, next, previous song/video.
* Computer Volume +, - or MUTE.
* All functions are uniquely integrated into one single command screen - so intuitive and easy that you don't have to look at the phone once you get used to the easy-to-remember command mapping.
* FREE SOFTWARE - GNU GPL - It's gives you full freedom of usage/sharing, if you're a programmer you can also study/modify/share its code. Infinitely cheaper than buying a presentation remote-control equipment/hardware from office stores! If you already have a compatible phone and bluetooth on your computer/notebook, you can get much more with WMouseXP. Try it NOW!

INSTALLATION STEPS: Most easy setup in 2 minutes.

* Download WMouseXP
* Extract the ZIP archive to some folder on your PC.
* Start your computer's Bluetooth. Make sure your PC's Bluetooth is plugged-in & started in the system-tray. (or if your Notebook has internal Bluetooth - start it using its assigned Fn+ bluetooth button or hardware bluetooth/wireless button)

Note: WMouseXP is compatible with PC Bluetooth running on Toshiba, BlueSoleil, Microsoft or Broadcom/WIDCOMM Blueooth Stacks/Drivers (ask your computer store about that).

* Double-click Start_WMouseXP.bat
* Press the "Send & Install on phone" button to send the Mobile-Side program to your mobile phone and install it there. (Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is ON and discoverable - "Show to all".)

Note: If send fails (Motorola U9, Nokia 6230, etc), then open your phone's wap browser to wap.ClearEvo.com and download/install WMouseXP on your phone from there.

* On your phone, start the Mobile-Side WMouseXP program, allow it to access Bluetooth until you see "Awaiting PC Side".

Note: On S60 2nd Ed phones , you MUST press the (left) soft key for "Yes" explicitly - because pressing the Joystick "in" would result in a default "No".

* On your PC's WMouseXP, press the "Connect" button. Wait until the PC side automatically finds the mobile side on your phone, it would then connect and minimize itself - showing the "Wireless Control Active..." balloon.

DONE! Move your phone's joystick and see your PC's mouse cursor magically move on your PC - try double-clicking, opening and closing stuff on your computer from your phone

Changelog: Update 22 Aug 2010
- Released as free-software under GNU GPL
- Added "Auto start" option - app would automatically start on boot of PC and search/try to connect to the nearby phone that's running WMouseXP
- Added touch-screen support for pressing the on-screen remote-control buttons. Use the standard Nokia on-screen-joystick to control mouse. Tested on Nokia 5230.
